Marilyn McCord Adams (1943-2017)

Via Robert Pasnau's website, In medias PHIL, comes the news that Dr Marilyn McCord Adams has died. She was the source of prodigious scholarly output in medieval philosophy, often comparing Thomas Aquinas with later figures in the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries. Her two-volume work on William of Ockham (1987) remains a standard. Requiescat in pace.
