Articles by John F. Boyle online

My dear friend, John F. Boyle, has made available many of his key articles, via his web page at the University of St. Thomas's website. Readers may know of Dr. Boyle because of his central role in editing and studying Thomas's Lectura romana, thought to be the result of Thomas's short-lived effort to teach from book 1 of Peter Lombard's Sentences, while in Rome, just prior to his commencing the writing of the Summa theologiae. Some of the articles available on his page address that subject (in particular one dating from 2006, where he addresses some concerns about the Lectura romana that have been raised by Fathers Dondaine and Torrell).

You can find Dr. Boyle's web page here.
